Tried opening the files as sqlite3 databases to no avail. or i played this player here 1 time and played a different one before syncing the files. that way its easier to transfer players between machines w/o worring about - oops, I created a player here and player there. but just as well create another file to manage quests per user and not have 1 single one. the only thing I can think of is that this is to make it safer to update. wonder why its not in the individual player files. I'm thinking that, for some reason, the playerQuests.db file maps players to quests completed. I logged into my user and was able to hop back into my world - after receiving notice of completing several quests (the ones I completed on the other machine). I left out universe.dat (no idea what htat does) and the playerCodex/playerQuests/questPlanetSeeds. I copied from the universe folder the file w/ the same sort of name as the player (.clientcontext file) and the worlds. I copied the players files over (none are 'shared' files).
